Featured in folk and acoustic roots magazine SpiralEarth.co.uk

Added on Tuesday 21 Oct 2008

I was down in Tinderbox having my habitual Saturday morning coffee and a read of the weekend papers when Pat phoned - sounding rather cheery and as if she was hiding some news. What she wanted to show me was that I've been featured on the SpiralEarth.co.uk website - on the front page no less. :-)

We met David Kushar (who runs the SprialEarth website) at the Colonsay Fok Festival and had a chat; he mentioned at the time that he had seen me perform at one of the events and was kind enough to say some positive things about my performance.

Now I'm experienced enough to know that that doesn't always mean anything - people will say they liked you just to be polite - and are hardly likely to say anything else if they are talking to you directly. However, he must have been sincere, to have taken the time to write up this short article and put it on his website.

So a big thank you to David for his generosity.

It's nice to know people are listening. :-)

The SpiralEarth website is at http://www.spiralEarth.co.uk. I'm guessing this is the permanent link to the article.
